Shipping & Delivery Policy
This policy governs delivery for sold goods and rental equipment supplied by Rakaz Al Joudah General Contracting (RJGC) (“RJC”).
Scope and Definitions
Main Cities: Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah (within municipal limits).
Remote Areas: Any destination outside the Main Cities.
Base Warehouse: The RJC warehouse assigned to dispatch the truck for the order.
Sold Goods — Delivery and Charges
Main Cities: Delivery charges are borne by RJC.
Remote Areas: Delivery charges are borne by the customer. Charges are calculated based on the road distance from the Base Warehouse to the delivery site (round trip), at the prevailing per-kilometer rate stated on the quotation or invoice, plus any road tolls, permits, or escort fees if applicable.
Risk and Title: Title passes and risk of loss transfer to the customer upon delivery at the agreed site and acknowledgment of receipt.
Scheduling: Delivery windows are communicated in the order confirmation and are subject to truck availability, site readiness, and regulatory permissions.
Rental Equipment — Delivery and Pickup Charges
Rental term ≥ 6 months: Delivery and final pickup charges are borne by RJC for destinations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Rental term < 6 months: Delivery and pickup charges are borne by the customer. Charges are calculated based on the road distance from the Base Warehouse to the delivery/collection site (round trip for each movement), at the prevailing per-kilometer rate stated on the quotation or invoice, plus any road tolls, permits, or escort fees if applicable.
Where multiple relocations are requested during the rental term, each movement is charged on the same basis unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Site Requirements and Unsuccessful Delivery
The customer must ensure safe truck access, permitted working hours, and ground conditions suitable for unloading.
Offloading at site is the customer’s responsibility unless expressly included in the quotation.
If delivery or pickup cannot be completed due to site inaccessibility, lack of permits, or customer no-show, waiting time and redelivery/repickup will be charged to the customer at the rates stated on the quotation or invoice.
Distance Measurement and Fees
Distances are measured by standard road routes using recognized mapping tools from the Base Warehouse to the site.
Any additional fees required by authorities (tolls, convoy/escort, municipal access, special permits) will be invoiced at cost.
Liability, Damage, and Force Majeure
RJC is not liable for delays caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to weather, road closures, government actions, or third-party carrier delays.
Visible transport damage must be noted on the delivery receipt at delivery and reported to RJC within 48 hours with photos.
